The Beginning of Your Journey!

Wayne nods, putting the binoculars down and refixing his glasses on his face.

Shiro nods, yawnin.

Tanner glares at Leon, about ready to beat the crap out of him. "He' lucky I don't want to fight on the first day . . ." He then pockets his hands and walks away.

Leon yawns again, oblivious to the boy's anger.
"......"
He slowly stops and looks around.
"....where am I going?"

"Lost as well, eh?" A voice behind Leon chuckles.

A young man with spiked black hair and a red bandana around his neck and a trickster's grin on his face approaches. "Strange, innit? They give us access to a prestigious academy...And don't tell us where to go when we step onto the grounds. And there ain't even a directory." He snickers lightly, now only feet away from Leon. "That your pal back there? I'm assuming no, considering you walked right past 'im as he called your attention. Seems pretty pissed, too." He then asks, pointing back at the boy with brown hair. "Phoenix Akairo. Friends call me Nix. Pleasure meetin' ya, ...?" He trails off, extending his hand and allowing Leon to introduce himself.

Leon extends his human hand out and shakes Alex's.
"Uh...Leon..." he says, finding it odd that this person had the nerve to walk up to him, when most people merely turned away.

( *Nix )

"Nice meetin' ya, Leon!." Nix replies with a smirk, giving his hand a firm shake. Originally, he felt rather bad, seeing the boy walking all by his lonesome, when everyone else seemed to avoid him. But his eyes fell down on the contraption that must have been a prosthetic arm. Quickly snapping his gaze back up at Leon, his smirk returns. "Far as I'm concerned, we still have a good hour or so before we gotta stack in for Ozpin's announcements." He says, checking his phone for the time. He pockets it and looks back at Leon. "Hungry? We can scour around for a cafeteria or somethin'." He suggests.

Leon nods. Sounded good to him. He hadn't eaten for two days, too nervous about the trip.
"Lead on..."

Li finishes unloading the Schnee Heiress' luggage from the cart, and boggles for a moment at how one person could possibly need so much luggage for a boarding school. He quickly shakes it off, and sets about unloading the cart he pushed in, trying to keep everyone's baggage together with itself.

"Awesome," Nix says with another grin, walking towards the school's entrance, noticing a particular red-head scaling the walls. "Huh. Don't see that every day!" He comments with a chuckle.

"Whoa!" Rudil gasps, looking at all the luggage. "That's a lot! Is that all for the Schnee girl?" She asks, helping Li to unload.

"Well, at least we have the upper hand, should we even need to fight the beast... Is your curiosity sated, or do you still want to look around?" Tavi asks, looking down at Wayne.

Leon watches as well, following Nix.
"Huh..." he comments quietly, pushing his hand into his pocket.

Wayne nods.
"I think i'm alright for now...wanna head to the announcement hall to get good spots?" he says, standing up straight.

"Everything that has the SDC emblem," Lí answers, glad to be done with the Heiress' luggage. "Should just be one more trip with both carts." After a moment he adds, "Until the next airship arrives, anyway.

After a few more minutes of sorting luggage, Lí begins wheeling one of the carts back out to the airship, gesturing for Rudil to follow along.

(Sorry to double post, but I want things to move along some...)

Sean walks out of the academy with his hands in his pockets, a hollowed out pen shell hanging out of his mouth as he approached one of the airships, tapping his foot and looking around for his teammates.

When Lí arrives at the airship once more, he notes that the second cart may not be necessary to finish offloading. Indeed, when the cart is filled, only a couple more bags remain, which he slings over both shoulders to bring back into the academy.

"Heh. Guess we're meant to meet all kinds of interesting folk around here." Nix says with another chuckle. "Alright, 'nough gawking. Let's get some grub." Nix says, holding the door to the main hall open for Leon.

"Sounds good." Tavi says, taking a few steps back, waiting for Wayne.

"That Schnee girl has a lot of stuff..." Rudil gripes, crossing her arms.

"We already established that, Rudil," Lí deadpans as he pushes the cart while carrying two other bags. "Fortunately, she has nothing else coming. It also seems I overestimated the amount of luggage the rest of the new students would be bringing." After a moment, he adds, "Well, for this airship, anyway," with a shrug, the bags he was carrying rising and falling with his shoulders.

Leon steps inside, looking around puzzled. He had never quite seen such a setup for getting an eating food.

Rudil simply gives a huff, crossing her arms and pouting a bit. "Dunno why she needs all this junk anyway..." Rudil murmurs, before snickering. "Hey, Li. Do you think Schneed's all this stuff? I don't!" She says, bursting into a giggle fit.

"What school are you from, Leon?" Nix asks, sticking his hands into the pockets of the sleeveless hoodie. He turns his head a bit to the side so he can get a better look at Leon, effectively hearing him better.

Lí groans at Rudil's pun, bowing his head with furrowed brows and a grimace, his hands otherwise occupied. "That was bad, Rudil. That was really bad." He gives a sigh, then begins offloading the cart, still shaking his head at the pun.

"Uh...Signal?" he says, trying to remember where the old lady had said she had retired from. If she used to teach there, it was like he had attended, right?

Tanner could smell to many scents. "Geez, I hate crowded places!" He groans, covering his nose. "This place stinks . . . Literally!"

"Ah, c'mon! It was funny, and you know it." Rudil chuckles, giving Li a playful punch in the arm.

Nix gives a simple nod. "Nice, nice. I'm from Sanctum, so when we held a small tournament, there were a lot of strong fighters from there. Got my ass kicked on more than one occasion from a few of them." He chuckles at the thought, seeing a fair amount of people file into a certain room. He opens the large doors that led to what looked like the cafeteria. "Score!" Nix says with another chuckle, waiting for Leon to enter.

Lí grumbles in good nature at Rudil's insistence of her humor. "I still maintain that it was bad," he says with a small smile. "Granted, it was somewhat clever, but that doesn't stop it from being bad."

Nix keeps on speaking, and Leon tries to keep up, but quickly becomes lost in the conversation when Sanctum was mentioned.
"O-okay..."

"Ah, c'mon. Get a sense of humor." Rudil says jokingly, chuckling as she helps unload the rest of the cart.

After they enter the line for food, Nix turns to look at Leon. "Yo, don't take this the wrong way, but you don't have many friends, do you?" He asks, tact seemingly unimportant and overshadowed by his curiosity.

"Most people tend to stay away from Cyborgs..." he says bitterly.

Lí rolls his eyes with a small smile at Rudil's words. As they finish unloading the cart, he tells her, "I'm going to get something to eat. Haven't had breakfast yet." Having said that, he works his way to the cafeteria, quickly checking his scroll to verify the time. The next airship would be landing in half an hour.

Nix raises an eyebrow. "Cyborg?" He asks, looking down at the metallic arm. "That ain't a prosthetic?" He then asks, stuffing his hands in his hoodie's pockets.

Leon moves the arm up and down, turning his wrist and moving the claws to display it's functionality.
"I guess it is...but it's the only arm I've ever had..." he says

Dusk was riding in the next airship coming down. He was hiding in the shadows looking and watching Beacon come closer into view. "Well, this will be an interesting year," he said aloud to nobody in particular. "I hope I don't have to deal with to may numb skulls this year."
