Hannibal Havazik Empty
PostSubject: Hannibal Havazik    Hannibal Havazik Icon_minitimeThu Dec 26, 2013 6:14 am

Name: Hannibal Havazik.

Gender: Male Faunus. (Grey Wolf)

Age: 20.

Personality: Hannibal is a very regal, respectful person; only ever offering his best to those he knows, and to new people, should he ever meet them in the future. Underneath that, however, is the heart, mind and soul of a man, who would want nothing more than to achieve greatness through his own personal conquest in life. Being a Faunus, Hannibal has been subject to crimes of hate by the humans; however, he would never lower himself as to seek revenge against those who wrong him. His personal belief states that, if they should so choose that life style, then they have already set course for their own destruction, at their own hand. Around his friends, colleagues and professors, Hannibal is as respectful as anyone can get, though can sometimes go overboard when it comes to discussions of combat or tactics. Nevertheless, he will defend or fight by his team mates, should the situation ever arise.

Bio: During the Human-Faunus war, a Grey Wolf Faunus, Balthazar “Broad-Blade” Havazik, was a commanding General in the Faunus military; one of the first few Generals to be assigned and sworn in. During his time as a General, Balthazar could only be described as a leader, as much of one as a person can be. This family trait would be passed down, but we’ll get to that later. Balthazar would go on to lead a few armies, during quite a few battles, his most prominent leadership role being the strategic commander of the South-Western forces. During the end years of the War, Balthazar faced a crushing defeat at the hands of the Human forces; that single day would be the start of the War winding down, as well as the Havazik family’s name losing its reputation. Loss after loss, Balthazar began to lose faith in his ability to lead, only one victory brought some hope back to him, and that battle, itself, was a fluke win. Once the war had ended, and the treaty between Human and Faunus signed, Balthazar’s name, which had once held great respect, had dwindled down to nearly nothing.

Balthazar would go on to father a few children after the War’s end; two sons, Anton and Balvor, and a daughter, Orora. All three children would carry the name Havazik, and not only would they feel the effects of the Human hate most Faunus received, they’d also have to brace through the fact that their family participated in the war, and lost. Balthazar was as best a father as he could be, but memories of the war, especially his losses, began to haunt him in his sleep. This lead to his love of the demon drink, and when he went home, it was less than pleasant for his children. Despite all that, as the years went by, only Anton and Balvor continued the families lineage in the military, with Orora, instead, taking the path of becoming a history teacher. The two brothers enlisted in the military, and spent a good few years serving. Following what was expected of them, the two brothers found wives, and had two children each. Orora never had children.

Despite all the hate the Human’s gave, the Havazik family continued their tradition of their sons or daughters entering the military. This continued all the way to the birth of Hannibal Havazik, Great-great grandson of the General, Balthazar “Broad-Blade” Havazik.

From birth, Hannibal’s father was ready to assist and guide his son in whatever future he may wish to peruse. Although, he did hope, secretly, that his son would want to continue the legacy of military men. His wish was granted the day Hannibal began to understand the words his father said, and the young lads want to learn more about his family’s history became all the more present. As he grew, Hannibal was enthralled by the tales his father told him, by all the stories of his grandfather, and great grandfather; his uncles and cousins that joined the military and worked so hard to become great men. Hannibal wanted that. He wanted the respect, the highest ranks and titles, and most of all, he wanted to lead. Before Hannibal could join any known military academy, though, he first had to learn how to fight. How to defend himself from all the dangers the world had to offer. He could've gone to Signal, the school closest to where he lived, but because of his father’s service in the military, Hannibal had to move around a lot. He attended many schools around Vytal, in the regions of Vacuo and Mistral, as well as a few months in Atlas. To help supplement Hannibal’s schooling in combat and knowledge, his father usually helped tutor him in military tactics and combat, furthering his skill, and filling in the gaps in his fighting style.

Hannibal’s last year of combat school was attended in Signal. He didn't know many people his last year, and spent most of his time talking to the teachers, as well as reading up on history and battle strategies. When graduation came, Hannibal was not in attendance; his father was called away, Hannibal wished to travel with him that summer.

Upon returning to Vale, Hannibal was offered the chance to enroll into a military academy, and finally start his soldiers’ career. He declined. During the time he spent with his father traveling, Hannibal had heard of furthering his training at a well-known academy known as Beacon. This academy was created to help train future Huntsmen and Huntresses. Though Hannibal didn’t wish to become a Huntsman, he did wish to further sharpen his already refined skills. When the school year arrived, Hannibal was one of the first there, to get off the air-ship and arrive on the school’s grounds. The first few days were rocky, at best. Although a few of the students there looked down on him for being a Faunus, Hannibal paid many of them no mind. His father had raised him such that though many said their worst, and a few did their worst, Hannibal did not lower himself to their level. Weaker beings usually displayed their fear through force and cowardly intimidation.

Not all the people Hannibal knew were like that, however; the members of his team, all of whom were brought together on initiation day, are some of the better people he’s known, definitely some of the few he truly respects and calls his most trusted friends and allies. Now in their Fourth and final year attending Beacon, Hannibal is set to finish out this year as best he can, with his future already well planned out.

-----Maybe. It’s the last year, you never know what’s going to happen.

Physical Appearance: Hannibal stands at a good, strong, 6-foot, 3-inches. The amount of training he’s undergone has given Hannibal the physique of a soldier in his prime, with strong features in most of his aspects. Facially, Hannibal seems to have a slim, but strong facial structure, with a hard jaw-line, and a bit of a stoic look about him that would only belong to a person made for the military. Years of physical training has given Hannibal the muscle mass of a soldier, although, one would assume he was a power lifter. Not overly muscular, but just a bit more than one would expect. Hannibal’s Faunus give away are his ears; perked up almost all the time, one would see them immediately if they were close, but because of his grey-ish black hair color, with his ears fur color being almost the same shade, one would miss the ears from further away. Hannibal’s hair style is a simple, swept and combed back, yet long enough that is reaches the base of his neck. There’s also a single, short braid on the back of his head, going down the center; it’s about 3 inches long.

Clothing/Armor: From the ground up, Hannibal wears a set of thick, black, armored combat boots, which go up and stop just an inch from his knees. Tucked into his boots are his grey-white pants, the material of which is slightly thicker than normal, and rough to the touch. Hannibal uses a black leather belt to keep his pants up (The belt has a few pouches and extra pockets attached), and wears a pair of armored knee pads (Form-fitted and made to better suit his needs). Hannibal, from the waist up, wears a black sleeveless shirt with a faded white button up shirt worn over it, both are usually tucked into his pants, and some days he’ll have his shirt sleeves folded up to his elbows. Lastly, Hannibal also has a sleeveless dress coat, long and two tailed, it usually goes down past his knees, and stops half way down his lower legs. The coats' color is a grey-ish white, that gradually fades to a darker grey, almost black near the coat tails. Armor supplements include a full upper body armor piece, colored a dark, silver-grey, as well as shoulder pauldrons, upper arm armor plating, and a pair of matching armored vambraces. All of his armor is colored a silver, white-grey, and is made of a light-weight metallic alloy.

Semblance: Rally Point: When in use, Hannibal can further extend his own aura into his allies. When doing this, his allies own natural aura shielding remains at regular strength, but lasts longer, and injuries, though still sustainable, heal just a bit faster than normal, though not as clean. Hannibal can keep this aura boost up for about 2 hours before he begins to feel the fatiguing effects.

Color Represented: Snowy, Gray-ish White.

Fairy Tail Represented: Conquest, of The Four Horsemen.

Emblem: 12 spears set in a fan pattern, superimposed by a wolf skull, clenching a cavalry saber in its teeth.

Miscellaneous Info: Hannibal is rather appreciative of his weapon, usually using spare time to keep it in the best shape possible. He's also a bit competitive. Other than that, there's not much else to him....

RP Sampler:
“Hannibal! Hannibal, wake up!”

The disembodied, stern voice of a clearly older male echoed down the hall way. Rebounding off walls, and reverberating into the many room entrances that dotted the hallway. The thundering, vibrating call finally reached a room near the far end of the hall; occupied by a certain Grey Wolf Faunus.

“Hannibal! Don’t ignore me, boy, wake up and get dressed! Our air-ship is leaving in forty-five minutes!”

The young Wolf’s ears perked up at that, his sensitive hearing finally deciding to acknowledge his father’s voice. With a growl and a sleepy yawn, Hannibal rolled over in his bed, swinging his feet over the side as he got up into a sitting position. “Damn….” He muttered, stretching and popping his stiff, sleepy joints. Rubbing the sleep from his face, Hannibal pushed himself up, and groggily made his way over to his dresser. Picking out his cloths and daily items, Hannibal snagged a towel before heading to the bathroom.

Today was the day. Hannibal and his Father were moving bases again. Being the son of a high ranking military official had its perks, as well as its cons, one of them (cons) being not having much of a choice as to when you have to wake up in the morning. While in the shower, Hannibal kept his mind busy by listing off all of his personal effects, making doubly sure that nothing, nothing, was left behind. Turning off the showers water, Hannibal opened up the shower stall door, snagging his towel off its rack, and tying it around himself before stepping out. Probably still had a few good minutes before they had to leave, so, moving across the bathroom, Hannibal took a quick look in the mirror. It was layered with a bit of fogged mist, so he stepped closer and ran a hand down the reflective glass, clearing a view. “Ahh, bollocks…” He sighed, looking at his reflection; his hair was starting to take on a grey tinge, giving the young Faunus a bit of a salt and pepper hair style. Not unexpected, considering Hannibal’s genetic lineage.

Turning away from the mirror, Hannibal went for the door handle, and gave it a twist. The door opened with a slight creek, and almost immediately, Hannibal heard; “Hannibal, that shower took far too long! Hurry and get dressed, ‘els there won’t be much food left for you!” ‘Well, good morning to you too, dad.’ Hannibal thought, the words dripping with sarcasm in his mind, growling with a bit of annoyance as he headed back into his room. Quick to dress and grab his personal items and weapons, Hannibal made sure his long, two tailed dress coat was in good order before heading out. Cavalry Saber and Revolver secured in their places, Hannibal walked into his apartment’s kitchen. The apartment, which he shared with his father, was standard for military personal. Though, since Hannibal’s father was of a considerably high rank, their apartment was a bit larger than most. Bigger rooms, bigger kitchen, more storage space, that kind of stuff.

“Morning, Dad.” Hannibal said, walking over to the table that his father sat at, before taking a seat himself. His father gave him a quick nod, the elder Wolf busy reading a newspaper. As he began taking food for himself, Hannibal heard his father say; “Wearing that new coat of yours? Already? You just got it yester--- What happened to the sleeves?”

Hannibal looked up from his food, seeing his father’s questioning look before addressing his question. “Coat was fine, Dad; the sleeves though, just a bit too tight. I cut them off and,” Hannibal moved his arms a few times, displaying their field of movement, “Feels much better, if you ask me.”
With a raised eyebrow, Hannibal’s father replied, “Hmm, I suppose so. Outcome of a duel can depend on a warrior’s attire, at times. Though, I must say, it does suit you. A Havazik son, if I ever saw one.”

A compliment? This early? What on Remnant’s green earth was his Old Man hiding this time? “Uh, thanks, Dad?” Hannibal said, a bit puzzled as he got down to eating his breakfast meal. Mid-way through, Hannibal looked up from his eggs and asked, “You never told me where we’re head to, this time.”

Hannibal’s father folded and set down his paper, then grabbed his cup of coffee, taking a sip before saying, “Atlas. We’re headed to Atlas. Vale Brass has set up a new base there, they’ve requested several Officers and I to arrive at the Vale embassy in Atlas, before taking post in the new base.”

Hannibal only nodded at this. The two of them had been moving around so frequently, Hannibal didn’t have much of a problem when it came time to move again. The young Wolf never kept many friends, choosing to spend more of his time training on or off the military base. Hannibal knew Atlas kept a few combat schools, he’d be sure to enroll there when he got the chance. If not, the bases usually kept a few instructors on hand; Hannibal preferred to train with them, at times. Something about having a skilled soldier teaching you how to fight brought a bit more confidence to someone. After both Grey Wolf Faunus had finished with their meals, the elder stood from his seat and headed for the door, a few of their bags set there, with everything else they had already sent ahead of time. Hannibal took their paper plates and made sure to dispose of them, before joining his father at the door.

Slipping on both of his armored boots, Hannibal spared his father a quick glance, the rather regal looking Officer straightening out his sleeves cuff-links. With everything set and ready to go, Hannibal took up both of his packs, his father taking his own, as well. The two Faunus left their apartment, neither really saying much to the other.

Until Hannibal’s father noted; “Hannibal, your hair’s starting to grey.”

“Heh, it’s expected, Da- I mean, Colonel Havazik.” Hannibal said, quickly righting his slip of tongue. “Part of being a Havazik son, sir.”

Surprisingly, Hannibal’s father chuckled, his line of sight never wavering, remaining straight forward at all times. “Indeed. But, son; we aren’t on the ship yet, let alone the base.”

“Right…… Dad.” Hannibal said, hefting his packs up higher as they continued on their way.

Got my vote of approval.

Unfortunately, I can't check word count requirements at the current time.

Also, needs RP sample, now I look at the template again.

Ah, Damn. So, I'll just write a trailer for him, then? I was hoping the arena duel could count as something. I'll get to making the sampler.

It's similar to a trailer, yes...I suppose, if you want, it could be put in to your Trailer, if you want. Next 3rd/4th year student I make, it'll be a bit more clearer. Let me know when the Sample is up.
