Personality: Bombastic, straightforward, and verbose, Abelardo is loud and proud. He is incredibly prideful of his strength and speed, developed from years of harsh physical training.
He is harshly judgmental, and hates humans with a passion, and respect any Faunus who fights for "freedom." He can be a bit of a bully, physically coercing other Faunus into believing in his cause. He's a staunch supporter, and a member of the White Fang.
He enjoys combat thoroughly, and will take any opportunity to challenge an opponent. Those that he teams unworthy are simply killed in one hit. He refers to duels as his "sermons," often preaching loudly to his opponents as he beats them down.
What he wants most is to take Saddle as a student, and "rectify the mistake" of his half human nature, by crafting him into the warrior that his father once was, but without the "weakness" of compassion. He wants to seed the hatred of humans that he has in Saddle, in order to correct Steele's legacy.
He is quick to fly into a rage when mocked, and the color bright red agitates his eyes. He has a large ego, and taunting him even lightly will result in him flying into a destructive, lethal tantrum.
Bio: Abelardo grew up in the same town as Saddle, and was one of Steele's students. He babysat Saddle when Saddle was young.
Abelardo grew up despising humans for forcing Faunus to live in horrid conditions, and learned to rely only on his strength, and his black and white judgement. This judgement failed him when he challenged Steele for having a human wife. Steele expelled him from his tutilage, shortly before being killed by Abada. Abelardo took pity on Saddle, a young half human, half Faunus child, and resolved to come back for him, and show him the true "path" to righteousness.
He fell in with the White Fang for several years, and made a name for himself, robbing trains and handily defeating Huntsmen who were sent to stop the White Fang.
He came back to meet Saddle, but the boy had gone on to join Beacon. Now, he spies on Saddle, watching the boy's social life, and growth as a warrior.
As judgmental as he is, he was immediately displeased by Saddle's comradely with the humans, and his romantic interest in one human in particular.
Physical Appearance: Abelardo is quite large. He stands an imposing seven feet tall, with powerful, flawless bull horns jutting from the sides of his head. There isn't a single soft bit on his body, his entire frame bulging with obstinate, hard muscle. He has tan skin, jet black short hair, and blood red eyes. He has a broad nose and a wide chin, and his front tooth is chipped. He has a lot of muscle, but not enough bulk to slow him down, making him both big and terrifyingly fast.
Clothing/Armor: Abelardo wears light armor, with a black bodysuit and blood red armor plating. He often wears a tan cloak with a hood, his horns piercing holes in the sides of said hood.
In cold weather, he dons a wide, straw hat. He carries his weapon in a scabbard on his hip, and his shield on his back.
Semblance: Abelaro has no talent with Aura, and has yet to manifest his semblance in any way.
